Making healthy pizza is fun and creative and a great way for the whole family to have fun in the kitchen together. We have a recipe for vegan mini-pizzas made on English muffins that are great for single servings and for the kids.

Ingredients
Pizza crust- I use a store-bought gluten-free pizza crust made from millet and flax, but you can also make your own. I have included some crust options below.
Marinara pizza sauce- Use store-bought or make your own. We have this delicious homemade oil-free healthy marinara sauce recipe on this website if you would like to make your own.
Veggies- Great vegetable toppings for veggie pizza include bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes, which add vibrant colors and fresh flavors. You can also try olives, red onions, and artichokes for a savory, gourmet twist!
Vegan cheese- There are several vegan cheese recipes on this website that are perfect for making pizza. I have listed some of my favorites below.
Seasonings- Spices are optional, but sprinkling dry Italian seasoning, basil, or oregano adds more delicious flavor to your veggie pizza.
Preparation
STEP #1: Preheat oven to 425°F. Place pre-made pizza crust on a baking sheet, or make your own crust. Smear the marinara sauce over the top.
Sami’s Bakery pizza crusts are excellent! I have included some of my favorite options below
STEP #2: Add your favorite chopped veggies. A list of veggie topping options is included above.
If you’re in a big hurry, you can always purchase pre-chopped veggies
STEP #3: Add non-dairy cheese. I have an awesome vegan cheese sauce that we keep on hand for pizza, steamed broccoli, baked potatoes, or tacos. I also have a mozzarella cashew cheese that is great for pizza.
STEP #4: Bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes and serve warm. Sprinkle with some of my homemade vegan parmesan cheese if desired. Delish!
